DUSHANBE, 08.11.2024 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On November 8, in Bokhtar, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, commissioned an enterprise for manufacturing of tin roofing and cold storage under «Bokhtar-shifer» LLC.

A new production plant in the industrial zone of Bokhtar city with an area of 3000 square meters was built by the domestic businessman Habibullo Muqimov at the cost of 5.4 million somoni within the framework of the Action Plan for the celebration of the 35th anniversary of State Independence and the Years of Industrial Development.

Honorable Emomali Rahmon was informed that the company produces about 30 different types of metal products for construction, and its capacity is more than 3000 meters of tin roofing per month.

The activity of this enterprise is carried out in 2 shifts, and more than 20 local residents are provided with permanent well-paid jobs.

It was reported that with the increase in the production of this type of product in the country, its import from abroad has decreased by 40%.

The foundation stone for the construction of the enterprise was laid in November 2022 by the Honorable Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, and it was built with high quality within two years.

Three modern technological lines are available and installed at the enterprise, and it produces gutters, roof ridges, flats for building pipes, joints, pipes and various tin roof coverings, taking into account market requirements.

Production items meet the requirements of standard norms in terms of appearance and quality.

As a result of the increased market demand for tin roofing, there is an opportunity to produce even more products.

Honorable Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, while visiting the enterprise and talking with the employees, highly appreciated the initiative of the domestic entrepreneur and emphasized that the construction and operation of such enterprises and workshops lead to the supply of the domestic market with high-quality, competitive products that replace imports, and in this way it is possible to further increase the country’s production capacity in the future.

Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon gave useful recommendations on improving the quality of roofing, including its painting.

Here, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, got acquainted with the display of the products of the newly established enterprise and other workshops of «Bokhtar-shifer».

During the visit to the exhibition, the Head of State tasked the officials to try to increase the production capacity, create new jobs, a new list of high-quality industrial products and contribute to the development of the national economy in the future.

In order to provide better service in terms of product preservation and to offer fresh agricultural products to people in all seasons of the year, a modern cold store with a capacity of 600 tons has been built under this enterprise.

The modern «Bokhtar-shifer» cold store has the ability to store fruits and vegetables in good conditions and is equipped with modern self-operated devices.

Modern devices maintain the temperature of the refrigerator at the required level. Such conditions allow fruits and vegetables to be kept fresh and of good quality.

Another advantage of the newly built cold store is the contract for receiving and storing fresh fruits and vegetables for the population.
