On November 18, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, during his working visit to the cities and districts of Sughd Province, commissioned the State Institution of a special sports school for football in Isfisor rural community of Bobojon Ghafurov district.

The foundation work on this sports facility started in March 2023 and was completed on an area of 7 hectares in a period of more than 1 year with the involvement of almost 30 local builders in accordance with the requirements of the time.

This facility consists of a large 7,000-seat stadium, a sports field, offices, changing rooms and a meeting hall for 40 people.

At the same time, instructors can conduct theoretical lessons at this place. The installation of spotlights in the stadium allows for unhindered competitions and training in the evenings.

Honorable Emomali Rahmon was informed that the sportsmen of the district, in response to the concerns of the top leadership of the country, have effectively used the provided opportunities and made significant achievements in the field of sports.

It was emphasized that football has many fans in the district, and the team that plays in the second league of the country is the women’s football team of the district.

Every year, teenagers and young people of the district make significant achievements in national and international competitions.

Along with establishment of the first state institution of a special sports school for football in the countryside of Isfisor, 8 coaches were recruited, who will contribute to the education of skilled and famous athletes of the nation on the world stage.

It should be mentioned that in the period of the country’s independence, with the direct attention of the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon to the field of sports, radical changes took place in the district. In particular, this sports institution is their best example.
