DUSHANBE, 07.11.2024 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On November 7, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, put in commission the Center for diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of nervous diseases in the town of Bustonqal’a, Kushoniyon district of Khatlon Province.

Diagnostic and treatment center «Avicenna» was built by the local businessman Rasuljon Ashurov as part of constructive measures to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the state independence, and modern conditions of diagnosis and treatment are provided here for the population of the district.

As the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, was informed, the construction works on this healthcare facility, which consists of three floors and a basement, started in 2021 and was built with a modern architectural design.

30 people, including 10 doctors, 12 secondary medical workers and 8 auxiliary workers, are employed in the Center for diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of nervous diseases.

For the efficient operation of the center, modern medical equipment was purchased and installed with the sum of 3 million somoni.

In the basement of the facility there is a pharmacy, a digital X-ray examination room and other auxiliary rooms.

On the first floor of the building, there are rooms for receiving patients, examination and electrocardiogram, ultrasound examination, examination of brain recording, and a patient’s discharge room in order to provide high-quality medical services to those in need.

Medical wards are located on the second and third floors, which provide favorable conditions for patients. The center also has 30 beds.

Honorable Emomali Rahmon, while getting acquainted with the conditions and possibilities of this medical institution, highly appreciated the construction works and the provided conditions.

In the future, using the opportunity of this center with the involvement of regional and national specialists, examination and complex treatment of stroke and other methods of examination, diagnosis and treatment of various neurological diseases will be carried out.

With the start of the activity of the Center for diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of nervous diseases, the population has the opportunity to use its services for diagnosis and treatment economizing funds in their immediate location.
