DUSHANBE, 19.11.2024 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On November 19, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, in the course of his working trip, put in commission «Luqmoni Hakim» Neuro-Cardio-Endosurgery Center in the city of Khujand and got acquainted with the modern conditions of medical services.

 The building of the center consists of 2 floors, its total area, together with the courtyard, is 2276 square meters, and it was built in accordance with construction standards with the amount of 5 million 200 thousand somoni.

The Leader of the Nation was informed that the center performs brain, spinal cord, heart and kidney surgeries by endo-surgery, as well as open surgery for women’s genitals, endo-prosthetics of orthopedic diseases, treatment of nerve disorders and rehabilitation.

In total, 50 highly qualified doctors, nurses and mid-level medical staff are employed in this medical institution. The neuro-cardio-endosurgery center is equipped with magnetic resonance tomography, computer tomography, angiography, digital X-ray, new modern lithotripsy equipment, endoscopy, ultrasound examination, laboratory, physiotherapy treatment with laser type, magnetotherapy and shock wave.

 The center can provide quality services to more than 40 patients at a time.
