DUSHANBE, 08.11.2024 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On November 8, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, commissioned a building of the Maternity Department of the Central Hospital of Jaloliddin Balkhi district.
The Maternity Department of the Central Hospital consists of two floors, built with a beautiful and modern design and has a total of 60 beds.
136 people work in this department, including obstetrician-gynecologist, neonatologist, resuscitator, obstetrician, midwife, medical nurse and junior medical staff.
Along with the new building of the maternity ward equipped with modern equipment, other departments of the Central Hospital were also provided with modern diagnostic and treatment devices with the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
During the conversation with the doctors and employees of this department, the Leader of the Nation said that the construction of new institutions, modernization of existing institutions and equipping them with modern equipment will help to further improve the level and quality of medical services and the access of the population to them.
Residents and doctors of Jaloliddin Balkhi district considered the construction of such a beautiful and modern facility, which was built as part of improvement measures to welcome the 35th anniversary of the State Independence, as a valuable gift.
Development and construction works, especially in the direction of improving the state of medical services in the district, will lead to progress in the level and quality of services and will also help to create new jobs.
