On January 7, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, received for a conversation the personnel nominated for the positions of heads of a number of cities and districts of the country and leaders in other state structures.

Based on the results of the country’s national economic activity in 2025, the deputy heads of the Khatlon Province, the heads of the cities and districts of Kulob, Jaihun, Mir Said Ali Hamadoni, Khovaling, Isfara, Istaravshan, Spitamen, Bobojon Ghafurov, and Rudaki, the chairman and deputy chairmen of the Local Development Committee were dismissed from their posts, and other young and experienced personnel were appointed to these positions.

Solehzoda Ashurboy was relieved from the post of First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade, and Rahmonzoda Abdullo was relieved from the post of Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on Social Development and Public Relations, and the deputy heads of the Khatlon Province were appointed for economy and ideology.

Also, Sharifzoda Manuchehr, who until now was the Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan, was appointed to the position of Director of the State Institution «National Theater».

During the conversation, the Head of State Emomali Rahmon gave instructions and recommendations to the newly appointed personnel on faithful and honest work for the benefit of the state and the people of Tajikistan, compliance with the law and legal order, especially regarding the allocation of land for residential construction, preparation for spring sowing, selection and training of young and promising personnel, and proper treatment of the people.

It was emphasized that the process of construction and development should be expanded, including by attracting ambitious entrepreneurs and generous people, especially in order to adequately welcome the International Navruz and the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of Tajikistan.
