Tajikistan and Croatia Discuss Bilateral Relations within the framework of International Organizations

DUSHANBE, 11.12.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On December 9, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia Gordan Grlic Radman.
The parties exchanged views on the current state of relations between the two countries and discussed the prospects for the development of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Croatia within the framework of international organizations.
It was expressed readiness for cooperation in the direction of studying experience in the field of tourism.
It was noted that Tajikistan has also established a constructive dialogue with Croatia within the framework of the European Union. Tajikistan’s diplomatic relations with Croatia began 25 years ago, and today the countries are working to strengthen the legal framework.
Radman is also accompanied by a group of businessmen.
A forum of businessmen from both countries was held during the visit.
Tourism, processing of agricultural products, pharmaceuticals and mechanical engineering are important areas of the Croatian economy. In particular, tourism and travel are very developed in this country and today they account for more than 15% of Croatia’s GDP.
Following the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding between the foreign policy institutions of Tajikistan and Croatia was signed.
