President Emomali Rahmon makes personnel appointments

DUSHANBE, 07.01.2025 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On January 7, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honourable Emomali Rahmon, received for a conversation the personnel appointed to responsible leadership positions in the cities and districts of GBAO, Khatlon Province, districts of republican subordination, and several central government bodies.
By the Decrees of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the chairman of Vanj district of GBAO, the chairmen of the city of Norak and Panj district of Khatlon Province, and the chairman of Nurobod district were appointed from among young personnel with experience in civil service. By the Decrees of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Chairman of the Housing and Communal Services Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Chairman of the Tourism Development Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Director of the Institute of History, Archaeology and Ethnology named after Ahmad Donish of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, the Head of the Administration of the Dangara Free Economic Zone, the Rector of the Levakant International Institute of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan, the Rector of the Dangara International Institute of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan, the Director of the State Educational Institution of the Republican Boarding School of Rushon district of GBAO, the First Deputy and Deputy Director of the Export Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Deputy Chairman of the Food Safety Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, and the heads of a number of newly established scientific and research institutions under the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan were appointed.
During the conversation, the Head of State, Honourable Emomali Rahmon, advised them to work faithfully and honestly in serving the state and people of Tajikistan, to be close to the population, to adhere to a high culture of communication and interaction, to educate the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism and self-awareness, to protect national interests, and to promote the country’s construction and development.
The heads of cities and districts, who are now starting to fulfill their official duties, were instructed to expand construction and creative work in honor of the 35th anniversary of state independence, and to accelerate the construction of social facilities in the regions by attracting entrepreneurs and generous individuals.
Specific instructions were given to officials regarding the fight against all kinds of violations of the law, especially in the land issue.
