Tajikistan, Uzbekistan FMs discussed issues of strategic partnership

DUSHANBE, 13.01.2025 /NIAT Khovar/. On January 10, 2025, at the initiative of the Uzbek side, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin and the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov had a telephone conversation.
The ministers discussed the main results of Tajik-Uzbek relations of strategic partnership and alliance in 2024 and tasks for 2025 with an emphasis on the coordinating role of foreign ministries.
The sides noted with satisfaction the high level of contacts and mutual support of the two countries within the framework of international and regional organizations.
The conversation was held in the spirit of mutual understanding inherent to the Tajik-Uzbek partnership.
