On March 29, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, launched the operation of «Zuhal» Closed Joint Stock Company Oil Production Factory in Bobojon Ghafurov district.

The facility was built within the framework of the implementation of the fourth national goal — rapid industrialization of the country, and its design capacity is 40 tons of vegetable oil per day.

The factory provided 40 local residents with jobs and good salaries.

The production line consists of steam boilers, an oil refining workshop, the preparation of plastic boxes and packaging. The products enter the consumer market in containers from one to five liters.

The factory was established to meet the needs of residents with domestic and high-quality products, and it produces oil from rapeseed, sunflower, black seed and sesame seeds.

According to industry experts, the launch of the enterprise can also contribute to reducing the import of poultry feed from abroad, since the produced oilseed, which contains more than 6 percent oil, is offered to poultry factories at a relatively low price.

The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, gave useful recommendations to those responsible for increasing the volume of production, creating new jobs, and supplying the domestic market with vegetable oil.

With the establishment of such enterprises, the opportunity to meet the population’s demand for this type of product has increased, and entrepreneurs can use the benefits of the Government of the country to strengthen domestic production.

Here, the Head of State got acquainted with the enterprise’s products. It was reported that the oil of this enterprise is of high quality, environmentally friendly and harmless.

The Head of State praised the constructive initiative of the domestic entrepreneur, emphasizing that the construction of such facilities contributes to the well-being of the people.

Currently, in the cities and districts of Sughd Province, there are mainly large enterprises processing cotton and dairy products, meat, confectionery, canned fruits and vegetables, vegetable oil, paint, furniture, silk thread, satin, chicken meat, etc., whose goods and products are exported to neighboring countries and dozens of other countries.
