On November 19, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, during his working trip to the Sughd Province, inaugurated the new building of the city Prosecutor’s Office on Ismoili Somoni Avenue in Istaravshan.

The newly built facility has a total area of 1,500 square meters and consists of 4 floors and 14 office rooms, a library, conference room, canteen, basement, hotel, and other auxiliary facilities.

The building has created conditions for the good work of 8 specialists. In addition to the hotel, there are also living quarters in this facility.

The construction of the new building began in May 2024 and was built with high-quality within the specified time frame, meeting the requirements of modern times.

While getting acquainted with the conditions created in the Prosecutor’s Office building, the Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, highly appreciated the quality of the foundation works.

The official building was considered a valuable gift from the Government of the country to celebrate the great and glorious national holiday — 35th anniversary of state independence.

During a conversation with officials and employees of the prosecutor’s office, the Leader of the Nation gave instructions and recommendations to the employees to strengthen their activities, monitor compliance with the rule of law and legal order.
