Postal Services Between Tajikistan and Russia Resume Following Year-Long Suspension

DUSHANBE, 23.05.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – Postal services between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Russian Federation were officially resumed on May 20, after a year-long suspension, as confirmed by the Communications Service under the Government of Tajikistan.
State-run postal operator Pochtai Tojik announced that both governmental entities, businesses, and citizens can now send letters, parcels, and packages to all regions within the Russian Federation.
Pochtai Tojik currently facilitates postal exchanges with 180 countries globally and offers money transfer services to 11 members of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
Tajikistan’s postal infrastructure includes 50 regional postal hubs, 550 post offices, three regional postal enterprises, one inter-district office, the Dushanbe Central Post Office, a Mail Processing Center, the Markazi Marka philatelic center, a national special communications hub, and 691 public mailboxes nationwide.
