Uzbek Company Artel Will Open a Refrigerator Manufacturing Plant In Tajikistan
DUSHANBE, 13.02.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The cooperation and partnership with Uzbekistan is entering a new level. All the issues related to opening an Artel refrigerator plant in Dushanbe are currently being resolved, reported the Chairman of the State Committee for Investments and State Property Management of Tajikistan Farrukh Hamralizoda at a press conference.
“Foreign investors invested $644,500,000 in Tajikistan’s economy last year, of which $ 5.3 million came from Uzbekistan. Uzbek investments were made in agriculture, poultry farming and horticulture,” Hamralizoda said.
“Artel products have been on the Tajik market for several years. Artel household appliances confidently entered the local market and became very popular among the population,” Hamralizoda noted.
The agreement between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan was reached during the state visit of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to Tashkent on August 17-18.
Artel produces refrigerators, televisions, smartphones, washing machines, gas stoves, air conditioners, microwave ovens, vacuum cleaners and energy-saving lamps.
