DUSHANBE, 30.05.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On May 30, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honourable Emomali Rahmon, received the Executive Director of the Green Climate Fund Mafalda Duarte, who arrived in Dushanbe to participate in the first International High-Level Conference on Glaciers’ Preservation.
The President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, expressed hope that the Green Climate Fund will effectively contribute to the implementation of the conference goals and promote global efforts to prevent rapid melting of glaciers.
Much attention was paid to the implementation of projects in the field of energy, agriculture, disaster resilience, private sector development and improvement of services in the meteorological sector.
