DUSHANBE, 08.05.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – Starting from May 10, the season of intracity tourist routes «Red Bus Tours» will start in Dushanbe, reports the Department for Tourism Development of the Executive Body of State Authority of Dushanbe.

The intracity routes were developed on the initiative of the Executive Body of State Authority of Dushanbe to develop the tourism sector, present tourism opportunities, the potential of the capital and their effective use, attract more domestic and foreign tourists, as well as introduce the best practices of tourism programs to provide guests and tourists with a range of tourism services.

As part of the routes, residents and guests will be able to get acquainted with the historical, cultural and tourist attractions of the capital.

During the tour, guides will provide detailed information in Tajik, Russian and English about the history, culture and rich past of the Tajik people, as well as about the tourist opportunities of the capital. It will be also provided a cultural and entertainment atmosphere to guests.

It should be noted that the regular operation of the intracity tourist routes will continue from May 10 through October 2025.

The excursion around the capital will be organized first on weekends, and then — within the demand of guests and tourists daily by purchasing an electronic ticket with the involvement of travel agencies.

Dushanbe — Hissor route will also be used weekly on Saturdays.

Organizations providing services in the field of tourism, including travel and service agencies King Tour, Somon Travel and Diyor Travel have been involved in the implementation of these routes.

One of the routes (on Saturdays, at 19:00) starts near Navruzgoh State Institution, then the bus will go in the direction of Hofiz Sherozi Avenue, Saadi Sherozi Avenue, Safo Hotel, Rudaki Avenue, Istiklol Square, Kokhi Vahdat, Amonatbank State Savings Bank, Oriyonbank, Tajik State Academic Drama Theater named after Abulkosim Lohuti, Tajikistan Shopping Center, Rudaki Park, Dusti Square, National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, Tajik National University, Vatan Cinema, Dushanbe Hotel, State Unitary Enterprise “Tajik Railways”, Sadbarg Shopping Center, State Institute of Fine Arts and Design of Tajikistan, Serena Hotel, 800th Anniversary of Moscow Square, Parliament, Paykar Shopping Center, Writers’ Union, Central Republican Stadium, Ismoili Center, Executive Body of the State Authority of Sino District, Kokhi Borbad, Hyatt Regency Hotel, Kokhi Navruz, Javonon Lake and Navruzgoh Park.

Another route (on Sundays, at 19:00) starts from Dusti Square, then the bus goes along the streets and avenues near the National Bank, the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, the Tajik National University, the Embassy of the Republic of Turkiye, the Vatan Cinema, the Dushanbe Hotel, the railway station, the Sadbarg Shopping Center, the Hilton Hotel, along Druzhba Narodov Street, Nisor Muhammad Street — near the building of the Ministry of Education and Science, Kurushi Kabir Park, the Tajik State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after Sadriddin Ayni (800th Anniversary of Moscow Square), along Rudaki Avenue — near the Accounts Chamber, the building of the Executive Body of State Authority of Dushanbe, the building of the Parliament, the building of the Government, the government residence, the Saodat teahouse, Iram Park, the Siyoma drinking water production enterprise, Khayyom Park, the Tennis Palace and Water Sports Complex, the central cathedral mosque of Dushanbe, Shifobakhsh hospital, Kokhi Borbad, Hyatt Regency Hotel, Kokhi Navruz, Culture and Recreation Park of “Lake Javonon”, the National Museum, the State Flag Park, Rudaki Park, the Palace of the Nation, the National Library and Dusti Square.

The final route (on Saturdays, at 17:00) will be laid along the route near the Dusti Square, the State Emblem, the Palace of the Nation, the Rudaki Park, the Ismoili Center, the Hissor Fortress of Hissor city and back to Dushanbe (Dusti Square).

It should be noted that this step was first taken last year and was positively received by a wide range of residents, guests and tourists.
