Tajikistan Showcases Industrial Potential at Exhibition Held Alongside Glaciers’ Preservation Conference

DUSHANBE, 28.05.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – As part of the High-Level International Conference on Glaciers’ Preservation, Tajikistan has launched a large-scale Industrial Exhibition aimed at promoting the country’s industrial sector and advancing its fourth strategic national goal — rapid industrialization.
The exhibition is designed to highlight the achievements of domestic manufacturing enterprises and provide a platform for strengthening cooperation with international partners and participating countries.
Hosted in the main exhibition hall, the event presents a wide spectrum of Tajikistan’s industrial capabilities.
Key sectors on display include:
- Mechanical engineering
- Chemical and textile industries
- Mining and mineral processing
- Construction materials and coal
- Information technology and energy
- Food production, agriculture, and more
These sectors reflect the growing diversity and capacity of the national industrial landscape, and offer visiting delegations insight into the potential for trade, partnership, and investment.
In addition to the indoor exhibits, the open-air section of the exhibition showcases passenger and cargo vehicles, military hardware, and agricultural machinery — all manufactured in Tajikistan, underscoring the country’s technical and industrial progress.
According to organizers, the exhibition not only provides visibility for local producers but also:
- Enhances Tajikistan’s international reputation,
- Encourages direct collaboration between domestic and foreign enterprises,
- Promotes industrial exports, and
- Supports the creation of joint ventures using modern technologies.
All participants of the Glacier Preservation Conference, along with representatives from international organizations, academic and financial institutions, private sector leaders, and other key stakeholders, have been invited to attend the exhibition.
