This initiative follows recent high-level talks between the Prime Minister of Tajikistan, Kohir Rasulzoda, and the First Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohammadreza Aref, held in Dushanbe. During the meeting, four new cooperation agreements were signed between Iranian and Tajik institutions.
One of these is a Memorandum of Understanding for the implementation of the Iran-Tajikistan Technology Center, signed between the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies of Tajikistan and the Center for International Scientific and Technological Interactions under the Vice Presidency of Iran for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy.
Iran is considered one of the most technologically advanced countries in the region and has been actively collaborating with Tajikistan in digital innovation and technological development.
