First exhibition of Uzbekistan’s national goods opened in Dushanbe
DUSHANBE, 18.04.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The two neighboring countries — Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in trade and economic sectors. It is demonstrated by the participation of more than 160 producing companies and enterprises of Uzbekistan in the first exhibition of national goods of this country, which has been opened yesterday on April 17 in the trading center “Poytakht-90” of the capital of Tajikistan.
“The aim of holding exhibition-fair of industrial products of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Dushanbe is to present the goods of producing companies of Uzbekistan, expansion of trade and economic relations between the two neighboring countries, attracting investment, and finding partners, as well as it will create favorable conditions in strengthening brotherly and friendship, good-neighborliness and growing goods turnover between the two countries”, — said Sharif Said, Chairman of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan at the opening of exhibition. At the same time, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Tajikistan Shohqosim Shoislamov called the holding of this exhibition a stable step towards strengthening cooperation with Uzbekistan.
It is expected that within this exhibition, which will continue until April 21 at the trade center “Poytakht-90”, there will be held business circles forum between the two countries in Dushanbe to discuss topical issues related to establishment and expansion of trade-economic relations between the two neighboring countries — Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
