DUSHANBE, 26.06.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On June 26, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, continuing his working trip to Rushon district, got acquainted with the progress of growing agricultural products on the household plot of Rushon village resident Dodikhudo Dodikhudoev.

As it turned out, the Dodikhudoev family owns 400 acres of household land and uses it effectively. In particular, after the instructions and guidance of the Head of State Emomali Rahmon for the rational use of household land, members of this family, like other people in the country, are actively working on growing various agricultural products on their household plots and are getting good yields from them.

Currently, potatoes, bell peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, cabbage, and other crops are growing well on the household plot of the Dodikhudo family, and thus they satisfy their family’s needs with their own products.

The family members informed the Head of State that they harvest up to 800 kilograms of potatoes from this land every year, providing their family and relatives with this product throughout the year.

Also, by using agrotechnical standards, the family members obtain a good harvest of other types of agricultural products from the land near the farm.

They also have good experience in growing fruit trees, and using fertile soil and water near their farm, they have planted cherries, apricots, apples and various types of pears, the trees of which give good fruits. In particular, the farmyard is full of various types of apples, and according to the family members, a good harvest is also obtained from this every year.

Here, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, got acquainted with the crafts of the women of Rushon district, who presented bread products and national dishes.

The women artisans of the district presented tanuri bread, chapati, kulcha, tanuri sambousa, and local national dishes, such as milk tea with nuts, pumpkin with nuts, omoch, apricot kernel paste, burida soup, kabkshurbo, and pilaf soup.

After getting acquainted with the process of using the household land and presenting national dishes, the Head of State Emomali Rahmon had a free and sincere conversation with the family of Dodikhudo Dodikhudoev.

According to the Head of State, in today’s conditions, every family in the country should use every piece of arable land, especially household land, to its advantage, first of all, to satisfy the needs of their family with agricultural products and other foodstuffs, and thus contribute to the implementation of one of the strategic goals of the state — ensuring the country’s food security.

The Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, presented the Dodikhudoev family with a number of household items to ensure efficient and rational use of their farm land.
