DUSHANBE, 02.06.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – President of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Emomali Rahmon, has called on the participating countries of the first “Central Asia–Italy” Summit to work together in combating climate change and adapting to its consequences — one of the most pressing challenges of our time.
He expressed confidence that the first-ever International Conference on Glacier Preservation, currently being held in Dushanbe, would draw the attention of the global community to this urgent issue.
“We welcome the interest of the Italian Climate Fund in partnering with developing countries on climate action,” said President Emomali Rahmon.
