President Emomali Rahmon attended opening of cultural and recreational park in Roshtqal’a district

DUSHANBE, 26.06.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On June 26, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, put into operation the Shohdara cultural and recreational park, built with a modern design, in the village of Anjin in the Roshtqal’a district of the Badakhshan Mountainous Autonomous Province.
The cultural and recreational park was built by the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on a total area of 1 hectare, based on the initiatives of the Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, as part of the improvement and construction works and preparations for a worthy reception of the national holiday — the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The cultural facility was built with a modern design and elements of national urban planning, taking into account the requirements of the time and high architectural art.
The interior and walkways of the newly built park are fully decorated with seasonal flowers and shrubs, and more than 670 ornamental and shade trees have been planted for enjoyment. Its entrance and walkways are tiled.
During the construction of this park, more than 70 local residents and domestic specialists were employed.
From now on, this park will become a venue for cultural events, national celebrations and other festivities, encouraging residents to love their homeland even more, preserve national sanctities and work honestly for the development and prosperity of their ancestral land.
