DUSHANBE, 25.06.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On June 25, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, during his working visit to Vanj district, commissioned the Industrial Park of the district.
The industrial park covers a total area of 788 square meters and includes a total of 6 small manufacturing enterprises, whose activities are focused on the production of pasta, packaging of soy products, processing of peanut butter, processing and packaging of dried fruits, production of soap, and plastic doors and windows.
The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, first visited the workshop for the production of pasta and packaging of soy products and got acquainted with the work process on this production line.
This factory was established within the framework of the implementation of the fourth national goal — accelerated industrialization of the country, and new generation machinery and technologies have been installed in it. The equipment of the factory is manufactured by reputable world companies and uses little electricity.
The peanut butter and dried fruit processing factory has also launched production using modern methods, employing 6 people. The workers have undergone retraining courses before starting work.
The soap and plastic door and window production workshops form another part of the Industrial Park, where professional specialists are employed.
During his visit, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, expressed satisfaction with the work done and the organization of such enterprises, and gave specific instructions to those responsible for increasing production capacity and creating new jobs.
Once the Industrial Park is operational, a total of 36 local residents will be employed.
It is worth noting that the Vanj district of Badakhshan Mountainous Autonomous Province is considered an agrarian region and has a significant position in the production of agricultural products. Raw materials processed at the enterprises of the Industrial Park are obtained from local peasant farms.
It is expected that, in addition to supplying the domestic market, the products of the Industrial Park will also be exported abroad.
The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, expressed gratitude to the workers for their coordination in implementing the goals of the Government of the country, considering this action an exemplary one.
In turn, the officials of the Industrial Park thanked the Head of State for supporting the private sector and providing good opportunities for activity.
