Tajik Delegation Participates in Second Meeting of Ministers of Science, Technology, and Innovation in China

DUSHANBE, 12.06.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – The second meeting of ministers of science, technology, and innovation within the framework of the international «Belt and Road» initiative began yesterday in Chengdu, People’s Republic of China.
Delegations from various countries, including Tajikistan, as well as representatives of international organizations, took part in the opening ceremony.
The meeting is regarded as a key international event aimed at advancing scientific cooperation and innovative technologies. Its goal is to strengthen collaboration among participating states in priority areas of science and technology, support joint research, and promote the exchange of experience in modern innovation sectors.
Tajikistan’s participation in this international forum is seen as a continuation of its foreign policy course focused on developing cooperation in science and education, as well as reinforcing the country’s role in regional and global scientific dialogue.
The meeting will continue until June 12, during which the Tajik Ministry of Education and Science delegation is scheduled to actively participate in thematic discussions and bilateral meetings.
