DUSHANBE, 08.07.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On July 8, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic arrived in the Republic of Tajikistan on a state visit.

The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, sincerely welcomed the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Honorable Sadyr Japarov, as a sign of high respect.

For a decent welcome of the distinguished guest, the deck of Dushanbe International Airport was decorated with state flags of the two countries, the photos of Heads of state of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, and slogans praising the friendship of peoples of the two countries.

A red carpet was laid out for the welcome, and officers of the guard of honor lined up on both sides of the passage.

Also, in order to welcome the distinguished guest at a high level, a colorful and rich concert program was prepared and presented by youth and artists.

During a short conversation held in the airport hall, the Heads of the two states exchanged views on the program of Sadyr Japarov’s state visit to Tajikistan, in particular, expressing confidence that it will open new pages in the history of relations between the two neighboring countries.

It is worth noting that the state visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic will continue in Tajikistan from July 8 to 9, during which high-level meetings and negotiations between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, the signing of new cooperation documents, and other important events, including a trade and investment forum, are expected.
