To store clean water and ensure constant supply to the population throughout the year, a storage tank with a capacity of 100 cubic meters was built, which is considered a valuable gift for the residents of the village of Sangiston.
The drinking water pipeline was pumped through a vertical well from a depth of 35 meters using special electric pumps and was delivered to populated areas located far from its source.
The drinking water pipeline project was implemented in cooperation with development partners, and its implementation is a solid step towards achieving constructive goals.
The construction of the facility began in May of this year and was completed within the specified time frame and with high quality. More than 30 local specialists were provided with temporary jobs to complete the construction work.

This step was taken in the framework of the global proposal of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on water and climate issues, including the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028”.
