Head of State Emomali Rahmon Inaugurates Alley and Monument Dedicated to People’s Poet of Tajikistan, Gulnazar Keldi, in Aini District

DUSHANBE, 11.07.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On July 11, the working visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, to Aini district began with the opening of an alley and monument to the people’s poet of Tajikistan Gulnazar Keldi.
The construction of the facility was carried out to celebrate the 35th anniversary of state independence and in the context of the culture-fostering policy of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and respect for outstanding personalities of the nation.
The Alley of Gulnazar Keldi is located on Abuabdulloh Rudaki Avenue in the center of Aini district, and its total area, including auxiliary facilities, is 900 square meters.
The cultural and entertainment facility was built taking into account the requirements of modern architecture and urban planning for the recreation of residents and guests.
The terrace and its surroundings are beautiful and illuminated with evergreen and decorative flowers and shrubs. The pavilions, verandas and other necessary infrastructure are additional parts of the structure, and its extension will add another beauty to the center of Aini district.
The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, while familiarizing himself with the work done here, highly appreciated the craftsmen for the worthy depiction of the poet in the monument.
It was emphasized that in the future this tourist destination will also serve the people as a center for holding literary and cultural events.
The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, also highly appreciated the quality of the construction work and assessed the role of Gulnazar Keldi as a patriotic poet in the spiritual education of the people as good and effective.
It should be said that Ustod Gulnazar is the author of the National Anthem of the Republic of Tajikistan and one of the personalities whose creations will serve as a treasury of modern Tajik literature for present and future generations.
