Head of State Emomali Rahmon Inaugurates New Kayhon Hotel Complex at Khujand International Airport

DUSHANBE, 13.07.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On July 13, during his working trip to the cities and districts of the Sughd Province, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, inaugurated a newly built five-story Kayhon Hotel complex at Khujand International Airport OJSC by lifting the curtain on the symbolic plaque.
The modern Kayhon Hotel complex is 5-story and is built on an area of 3,750 square meters. This hotel has a modern conference hall with 40 seats and 90 standard rooms for high-ranking guests, and can accommodate up to 188 guests at a time.
Its first floor is equipped with tables, chairs, and beautiful and comfortable furniture for welcoming guests.
This floor also houses a corner for displaying and selling national souvenirs and other shops, which guests and tourists can visit during their trip.
During his tour of the newly built Kayhon Complex, the Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, spoke with officials and airport employees and highly appreciated the construction work at the facility.
Now, with the commissioning of the hotel, more than 30 local residents and domestic specialists have been provided with permanent jobs.
It was reported that the construction of the Kayhon Complex, as part of a worthy welcome to the great national holiday of the 35th anniversary of the Independence of Tajikistan, began in March 2018 with the involvement of 200 domestic builders and was completed within the specified period in July 2025 with a modern and national design.
