DUSHANBE, 12.07.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On July 12, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, opened the Rahmatullo shoe and detergent workshops in the village of Qalai Dust of Vahdat rural community, Devashtich district.

The workshop has a production capacity of 5,200 shoes per month, and it produces children’s, women’s and men’s shoes.

The new production factory was built as part of industrial development initiatives and in celebration of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of Tajikistan by local entrepreneur Rahmatullo Nurulloev.

The workshop’s entire set of shoemaking equipment, including sewing, molding, cutting and grinding machines, was imported and installed from abroad. More than 3 million somoni were spent on the construction of the workshop building and its equipping with modern equipment and devices.

Two production lines have been activated at the workshop. The main part of it is used for the production of shoes. Most of the raw materials of the workshop, including leather and thread, are domestic products.

While familiarizing himself with the possibilities of the new industrial potential, the Head of State Emomali Rahmon instructed the officials to process as much domestic raw materials as possible, thereby contributing to ensuring the well-being of the people.

Another production line of the newly built workshop produces detergents.

The workshop has the ability to produce up to 500 thousand pieces of soap per year.

The officials have learned the production process from specialists from foreign countries and also prepare the raw materials here.

The production of detergents is carried out using modern equipment.

A bakery has been built in another part of the same building, and several local women who are good at baking have found jobs.

In total, about 40 people have found permanent jobs and good salaries at the Rahmatullo shoe and detergent workshop in Devashtich district.

The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, praised the initiative of the patriotic and proud residents of Devashtich district, and considered the construction of this industrial facility a factor in the development of the district and improving the living standards of the people.
