Tajikistan and Russia Strengthen Interparliamentary Cooperation

DUSHANBE, 21.07.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – The 14th meeting of the Commission on Cooperation between the National Assembly of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation was held in Moscow.
The parties discussed key areas of bilateral cooperation, particularly in the trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian, and agricultural sectors.
Both sides emphasized the importance of enhancing interparliamentary relations between Tajikistan and Russia and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening mutually beneficial partnerships across all areas of shared interest.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Commission’s Work Plan for 2025–2026 was adopted, and the themes for future sessions were outlined.
