Top Tajik, Austrian diplomats discuss issues on bilateral, regional, int’l agenda

DUSHANBE, 06.08.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On August 5, 2025, in the city of Avaza, Turkmenistan, on the sidelines of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3), a meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin and the State Secretary of the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs of Austria Josef Schellhorn.
According to the Tajik Foreign Ministry, during the course of the meeting, priority issues on the bilateral, regional and international agendas were discussed, including the further expansion of political, trade, economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation.
The interlocutors expressed interest in continuing mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Austria in areas of mutual interest.
