President Emomali Rahmon visits the Chanoro farm in Fayzobod district

DUSHANBE, 30.09.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – On September 30, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, while continuing his working trip to Fayzobod district, visited the tomato plot at the Chanoro farm in the village of Khami Savra, Javonon rural district.
The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, was informed that the total area of the Chanoro farm is 611 hectares, and this year, along with other agricultural crops, the farm’s shareholders planted pink tomatoes typical of the region and high-yielding hybrid varieties on 4 hectares of it.
The yield of these varieties, according to their characteristics, taking into account compliance with agrotechnical rules, is from 500 to 700 centners per hectare.
This year, as in previous years, the farm’s shareholders are leaders in this area and are responsible for supplying the consumer market and the production of high-quality products.
The abundant harvest of tomatoes on this farm testifies to the continuous hard work and devotion of the shareholders to the land.
During a sincere conversation, the farmers recalled the constant support and attention of the Government of the country and said that in the future they would continue to work even better for the development of this agricultural sector based on their accumulated experience.
The President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, gave instructions and recommendations to the officials and shareholders of the farm to further increase production capacity, expand the area of sowing, introduce advanced technologies, use seeds of high-yielding varieties, and increase production indicators.
The climate of the district is suitable for obtaining high-quality yields of various types of agricultural crops, and this year, high-yielding varieties of tomatoes were planted on 355.6 hectares in all forms of farming. The harvested yield of this highly demanded vegetable as of September 28 of this year amounted to 5 thousand 714 tons.
