Today, a telephone conversation took place between the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, His Excellency Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The President of Uzbekistan warmly congratulated the Head of our state on his birthday, wishing him good health, a blessed life, and great success in his public activities.
During the conversation, the Heads of State also discussed the state and prospects of friendship and good-neighborly relations within the framework of strategic partnership and allied cooperation between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
The heads of state spoke in favor of continuing joint efforts to further expand ties and mutually beneficial cooperation between the parties in accordance with the fundamental interests of the peoples of the two countries.
An exchange of views took place on other topical issues of mutual interest.
