On November 19, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, put into operation the Maftuna Private Preschool Educational Institution in the village of Yakatol, Sabriston district, Istaravshan city.

The new kindergarten building was built in accordance with the educational policy of the Government of the country within the framework of the development plan dedicated to the 35th anniversary of state independence. Foundation work in the kindergarten began in 2023, and it was built with high quality within the specified time frame by the domestic entrepreneur Qayum Sharifov.

More than 20 local residents were provided with jobs during the construction.

The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, was informed that the newly built institution consists of 2 floors and a basement and is designed for 150 children.

There are 5 groups operating in the kindergarten, and 18 experienced caregivers engage them in interesting and fun games.

Spacious rooms for students’ activities and recreation are equipped with beds, wardrobes, tables and chairs, and various toys, and are decorated with high aesthetic taste and elegance, in accordance with the colorful world of children.

Education is conducted in 2 languages — Tajik and Russian. The authorities plan to introduce education in English in the future.

The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, presented the happy children with memorable gifts and had a sincere conversation with them.
