First International Conference on Finance and Digital Transformation to Be Held in Dushanbe

On 24 January, the National Library of Tajikistan will host the First International Conference on Finance and Accounting Issues, titled “Finance and Digital Transformation, Khovar reports.
The conference will bring together leading experts and specialists to discuss key challenges and opportunities related to the digitalisation of financial systems amid rapid technological development. The event is expected to play an important role in enhancing understanding of ongoing changes in the financial sector.
Among the central topics of discussion will be the role of cashless payments in the modern economy. Participants will examine the necessity of introducing cashless systems, as well as the challenges faced by governments and businesses during the transition process.
The conference will also focus on the development of the securities market in the context of digitalisation, including the impact of innovations such as ESG criteria and Islamic finance, as well as the role of digital technologies in market transformation.
Particular attention will be given to issues of institutional development of the securities market and innovations in Islamic finance. Experts will discuss the integration of Islamic financial instruments, including Islamic bonds and interest-free financial products, into the digital economy.
Additional sessions will address management accounting in the digital economy and tax regulation under digitalisation, with an emphasis on improving tax administration through advanced technologies.
Following the conference, the signing of several cooperation agreements is expected.
