President Emomali Rahmon makes personnel appointments in the structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs

On January 9, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, held a meeting with the personnel nominated for leadership positions in the structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In agreement with the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, personnel changes were made in the leadership of the central apparatus of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, departments and divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in a number of cities and districts.
Including the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, the Head of the Office of the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Head of the Internal Security Department, the Department for Combating Illicit Drug Trafficking, the Special Unit, the Regional Unit of the Khatlon Regional Department of Internal Affairs in the Kulob Group of Districts, the National Coordinator for Police Reform, the Head of the National Bureau of the Interpol Center, the Heads of the Departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the cities and districts of Kulob, Abdurahmoni Jomi, Farkhor, Khovaling, Temurmalik, Jaloliddini Balkhi, Vahdat, Rudaki, Fayzobod, Khujand, Jabbor Rasulov, Buston, Zafarobod, Asht, the Departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the city of Isfara, Bobojon Ghafurov district, Roshtqala and Ismoili Somoni and Shohmansur districts of Dushanbe, the Heads of the Departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Transport on the Dushanbe Airport Line, on the Railway Line and in the Sughd Province were appointed from among the young and experienced personnel in the field.
During the conversation with the personnel of the internal affairs bodies, the Head of State Emomali Rahmon urged them to serve faithfully and conscientiously, observe the rule of law and order and sectoral regulations, promote a legal culture in the ranks of the authorities and among the people, seriously and honestly fight crime and criminality, especially transnational organized crime and illegal drug trafficking, including its synthetic forms, as well as to provide high-quality training for young personnel in the field.
It was emphasized that in all cases, the interests of the state and the people of Tajikistan, the need to strengthen the security and stability of the country, and ensuring a peaceful and prosperous life for the population should be put first.
