Tajikistan, Germany hold political dialogue in Berlin

On January 13, 2026, Tajikistan and Germany held next round of political consultations in Berlin. The delegations were led by the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Farrukh Hamralizoda and Commissioner of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany for Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia Mr. Niklas Wagner.
According to the Tajik MFA Information Department, during the talks, views were exchanged on the current state and prospects for expanding bilateral relations in the political, economic, trade, investment, energy, scientific, educational, and cultural spheres.
The interlocutors also focused on current regional and international issues, cooperation between the two countries within international organizations, and strengthening collaboration on water resources, climate, and glacier protection.
The parties emphasized their readiness to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation in priority areas.
