The meeting took place within the framework of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2026 in the UAE. During the meeting, the parties discussed the expansion of bilateral cooperation in the energy sector with an emphasis of the construction of solar power plants with a total capacity of 1,250 MW in the Republic of Tajikistan.
Particular attention was paid to the implementation of the 500 kV Rogun-Saihun high-voltage power line project and Saihun — Sughd-500 substation project, which is of key importance for strengthening the stability of the country’s energy system and increasing the capacity of power transmission line.
The parties expressed their readiness to continue cooperation, develop technical and economic details of the projects and attract investment in the development of green energy.
