Over 2 Million Somoni Allocated in Khatlon for Regional Rounds of National Competitions

DUSHANBE, 20.02.2026 (NIAT Khovar) – In 2026, at the initiative of the Chairman of the Khatlon Region, more than 2 million somoni have been allocated to organize the regional rounds of national competitions.
Specifically, 593,100 somoni have been earmarked for the national competition «Furughi Subhi Donoi Kitob Ast», 802,050 somoni for «Ilm – Furughi Ma’rifat», 632,900 somoni for «Tajikistan – My Beloved Homeland», and 200,600 somoni for «Shohnomakhoni».
The total prize fund allocated for students, school pupils, teachers, and participants of various age groups who win the provincial rounds exceeds 2 million somoni, which is 190,650 somoni more than in 2025.
Prize money has been set at 6,000 somoni for first place, 7,200 somoni for second places (two awards), 7,200 somoni for third places (three awards), and 2,400 somoni for teachers.
It was also reported that in 2025, participants from the region achieved significant results in the final rounds of the national competitions “Furughi Subhi Donoi Kitob Ast,” “Ilm – Furughi Ma’rifat,” and “Tajikistan – My Beloved Homeland,” winning 2 Grand Prizes, 7 first places, 17 second places, and 40 third places.
