Tajikistan and Japan Discuss Cooperation within Regional and International Organizations

DUSHANBE, 11.02.2026 (NIAT Khovar) – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Idibek Kalandar met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Republic of Tajikistan, Keiko Furuta, on February 10 in Dushanbe.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, during the meeting the parties discussed the current state and future prospects of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Japan.
The sides also exchanged views on cooperation within regional and international organizations, reaffirming their mutual interest in further strengthening partnership and dialogue.
