Tajikistan, China Sign Deal to Expand Health Cooperation

On March 31, First Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of Tajikistan Salomuddin Yusufi met with a delegation from China in Dushanbe, the ministry said.
The ministry noted that cooperation between the two countries in health care has expanded in recent years, delivering tangible results alongside collaboration in other key sectors.
Chinese representatives said their visit aimed not only to review ongoing projects but also to outline next steps in developing medical infrastructure, including the construction and modernization of health facilities.
The sides discussed prospects for expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in areas of shared interest and expressed readiness to further strengthen ties.
Following the meeting, a trilateral memorandum of cooperation was signed by representatives of Behdoshti CJSC of Tajikistan, the People’s Hospital of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, and Xinjiang Sanbao Industrial and Trade Company of China.
