Tajikistan delegation was received by Afghan President and held a number of bilateral meetings in Kabul
DUSHANBE, 09.05.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/.Chairman of Tajikistan’s State Committee for National Security, Saimumin Yatimov stayed on a working visit to Kabul, Islamic Republic of Afghanistan on May 7-9.
During his working visit he held a series of bilateral talks with leadership of security and intelligence agencies of Afghanistan, in particular Masoom Stanikzai, the Chief of National Directorate of Security of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Tariq Shah Bahrami, Afghanistan defence minister , Wais Ahmad Barmak, Minister of Interior Affairs, and Afghanistan’s National Security Adviser Mohammed Hanif Atmar.
The central topics of the talks were fight against terrorism, ensuring border security between the two states, illicit drug trafficking and countering illicit arms trafficking and other pressing problems in the regions.
The President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani received the Tajik delegation led by Saimumin Yatimov, the Chairman of Tajikistan’s State Committee for National Security.
They reportedly discussed further strengthen good neighborly relations and stressed common position regarding fight against the security risks faced the world.
