Following high-level meetings and talks between Tajikistan and China, 31 new cooperation documents were signed.

The two Heads of State, Honorable Emomali Rahmon and Honorable Xi Jinping, signed the Joint Statement of the Republic of Tajikistan and the People’s Republic of China on Deepening Comprehensive Cooperation and Strategic Partnership in the New Era and the Treaty on Eternal Friendship, Good-Neighborliness, and Cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the People’s Republic of China.

As noted, the main motto of this document is: «Friends forever, enemies never.»

The following were also signed:

— Cooperation Program between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China for 2026-2027;

— Memorandum of Cooperation between the Communist Party of China and the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan for 2026-2028;

— Exchange letters between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of the People’s Republic of China on a technical assistance project;

— Memorandum of Understanding between the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies and the National Development and Reform Commission of the People’s Republic of China on the establishment of a Tajikistan-China Center for Cooperation in Artificial Intelligence;

— Memorandum of Understanding on Strengthening Cooperation Based on Digital Trust in Trade between the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China;

— Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China on Expanding Scientific and Technological Innovative Cooperation in Artificial Intelligence;

— Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Finance of the People’s Republic of China in the Field of Public Finance Management;

— Action Plan between the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China to Strengthen Investment Cooperation in Green Mineral Resources for the Period 2026–2028;

— Memorandum of Understanding between the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA) and the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan on the Joint Implementation of the 2026 Cooperation Plan in the Field of Human Resources Development;

— Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Export between the Export Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Export Promotion Bureau under the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China;

— Exchange Letters between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of the People’s Republic of China on the Feasibility Study for the Modernization of the Infrastructure of the Kulma Border Crossing Point;

— Memorandum of Cooperation between the Export Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and China Media Corporation;

— Agreement between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade on the Establishment of a Business Council;

— Roadmap for Scientific and Technical Cooperation in Metrology for 2026-2031 between the Agency for Standardization, Metrology, Certification, and Trade Inspection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan (Tajikstandart) and the State Administration for Market Regulation of the People’s Republic of China;

— Exchange Letters between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of the People’s Republic of China on the Project for the Provision of Laboratory Equipment for Quality Determination and Control in Tajikistan;
