Tajikistan and WHO Discuss Strengthening Health Cooperation in Geneva

Ambassador of Tajikistan to Switzerland and permanent representative to the United Nations Office in Geneva, Sharaf Sheralizoda, met with World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus to discuss cooperation on global health priorities, according to the Tajik embassy.
The meeting on June 4 focused on strengthening collaboration between Tajikistan and the WHO, the embassy said.
Both sides exchanged views on current global health challenges and outlined areas for expanded cooperation in support of public health and sustainable development.
The two officials also expressed readiness to maintain dialogue and continue constructive engagement on health-related initiatives.
