Rustam Emomali Meets Saudi Shura Council Chief To Strengthen Bilateral Ties

The Chairman of National Assembly (Parliament) of Tajikistan, Mayor of Dushanbe Mr. Rustam Emomali, met with Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh, chairman of Saudi Arabia’s Shura Council, to discuss expanding parliamentary, economic and investment cooperation, National Assembly said.
The talks also covered strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties, with the two sides exchanging views on prospects for further developing bilateral relations.
The two sides welcomed the continued support provided by the Saudi Fund for Development, the Islamic Development Bank and other Saudi financial institutions in implementing social and infrastructure projects in Tajikistan, according to the National Assembly.
