On July 8, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, commissioned the new administrative building of the Sughd Regional Court in Khujand.

The facility was built within the framework of the constructive policy of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in order to create favorable conditions for the functioning of judicial bodies and meet the modern requirements of the sector.

The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, was informed that the Sughd Regional Court administrative building also houses the Khujand Garrison Military Court and the Sughd Regional Economic Court.

All office rooms, trial halls, and other service rooms are equipped in line with modern requirements and have the necessary conditions for the effective work of judges, court staff, and the reception of citizens.

The basement of the building has special rooms intended for the temporary detention of suspects in criminal cases.

The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, while familiarizing himself with the possibilities of the building, highly appreciated the quality of the work done and guided the employees of the sector to ensure the rule of law, justice, and the protection of human and civil rights and freedoms.

It was emphasized that employees of the judicial authorities must act with high responsibility, loyalty to the state and nation, and a high sense of patriotism, and prioritize the strengthening of law and order.
