On September 17, as part of the official visit to the Republic of Korea, a ceremony for the presentation of the 9th Honorary Taekwondo Dan to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, was held at the headquarters of the World Taekwondo Federation (WT).
At the federation’s headquarters, the distinguished guest, President of the country, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, was warmly welcomed by the President of the Taekwondo Federation, Yun Ung Sok.

Before the ceremony began, a taekwondo martial arts demonstration was presented for the distinguished guest, the Leader of our state, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon.

Subsequently, the President of the Taekwondo Federation, Yun Ung Sok, read out the Council’s decision to award the 9th Honorary Taekwondo Dan to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

During the ceremonial event, the 9th Honorary Taekwondo Dan was presented to President Emomali Rahmon, and he was dressed in the special taekwondo uniform.

President Emomali Rahmon expressed his gratitude to the federation’s leadership for the recognition and emphasized that, alongside being a popular Olympic sport, taekwondo embodies the philosophy of a healthy lifestyle and the spiritual and cultural bonds between people.

The Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, wished the leadership of the World Taekwondo Federation continued success in the further development of the federation and in achieving its noble goals.
