A meeting between Ambassador of Tajikistan to Iraq Zubaidullo Zubaidzoda and Ali Hussein Al-Jaffot, head of Iraq’s National Center for International Judicial Cooperation, was held on Sept. 29 in Baghdad, the Tajik Embassy in Oman said.

The officials discussed the current state and prospects for cooperation between Tajikistan and Iraq in law and justice, with a focus on strengthening judicial and legal ties.

They also discussed strengthening the legal framework for bilateral cooperation, expanding contacts between judicial bodies and relevant institutions, and exchanging legal expertise and information.

The sides emphasized the importance of maintaining direct dialogue and professional contacts between the competent authorities of the two countries and expressed readiness to use existing opportunities to expand cooperation in justice and international judicial cooperation.
