Ambassador of Tajikistan to Switzerland Sharaf Sheralizoda met with Nikolaus Kohler, president of the Joint Chamber of Commerce, in Zurich to discuss ways to strengthen trade, investment and business ties between the two countries.

According to the Embassy of Tajikistan in Switzerland, the talks focused on expanding direct links between the private sectors of Tajikistan and Switzerland.

Sheralizoda presented Tajikistan’s economic and investment priorities and highlighted opportunities for Swiss companies to participate in investment projects and establish partnerships with Tajik businesses.

The sides also discussed the role of the Joint Chamber of Commerce in facilitating business contacts, organizing business trips and networking events, and identifying areas of mutually beneficial cooperation.

Particular attention was given to promoting Tajikistan’s investment opportunities among Swiss business circles and expanding direct business ties between companies in the two countries.
