The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, held a conversation with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, His Excellency Masoud Pezeshkian, on the sidelines of the summit of heads of state participating in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), held in the Avaza district of Turkmenistan.

At the outset of the meeting, President Emomali Rahmon warmly welcomed the President of the friendly and brotherly country as an honorary guest at the summit.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed a range of issues related to the friendly relations and multifaceted cooperation between the two countries, as well as ways to further strengthen and expand these ties.
