On November 1, the working visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, to Sughd Province began with the inauguration of a livestock and poultry feed production plant belonging to the Supply Base of Bars Company LLC in the city of Buston.

The plant was established at the initiative of domestic entrepreneur Mirzoabdurahmon Mirzobahodurov as part of the implementation of the country’s fourth strategic goal — rapid industrialization.

During the visit, the Head of State was informed that the plant is equipped with modern technological production lines and manufactures compound feed for cattle, small livestock, poultry, and fish.

The plant’s designed annual production capacity is 37,440 tons. To ensure the proper storage of raw materials and finished products, 10 warehouses have been built on the premises.

The facility was constructed with the involvement of local specialists and using metal structures. With the launch of the plant, nearly 70 people have been provided with permanent jobs.

It was reported that the plant’s products are manufactured in accordance with relevant standards and tailored to the specific needs of different types of livestock and poultry. The products are marketed under the Eco Kombikorm brand. The new-generation technological production lines are distinguished by their energy efficiency.

It was noted that in 2025, compound feed for poultry and livestock worth $100 million was imported, while annual market demand amounted to 450,000 tons. In this regard, the Head of State instructed that the production of compound feed for poultry and livestock be significantly expanded.

One of the plant’s key features is the production of import-substituting goods. The necessary raw materials are sourced partly domestically and partly from abroad. Another advantage of the facility is its zero-waste production process.

President Emomali Rahmon emphasized that the establishment of such modern enterprises is important for achieving the fourth strategic goal — rapid industrialization — as well as for developing the country’s production capacity and creating new jobs.

At the same location, the Head of State also familiarized himself with products manufactured by Bars Company. A wide range of domestically produced goods was presented at the exhibition, including tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, cottonseed and sunflower oils, pasta, margarine, compound feed for livestock and poultry, beverages, and other products.

It was emphasized that the production of such a diverse range of goods demonstrates the expansion of the company’s production capabilities and its contribution to supplying the domestic market with locally manufactured products.

President Emomali Rahmon also remotely inaugurated the rice-processing plant of Agrotrading LLC in Buston.

The enterprise was established with the contribution of a group of local entrepreneurs — Mirzomubin Qodirov, Mirzomuqim Qodirov, Hafiza Sodiqova, and Muhayyo Qodirova.

The plant’s designed processing capacity is 24,000 tons of rice per year. 40 jobs have been created here.

The commissioning of such enterprises was described as important for the development of the industrial sector, the processing of domestic raw materials, increasing the production of competitive goods, and strengthening the country’s economic potential.

President Emomali Rahmon expressed his gratitude to the entrepreneurs and officials for their contributions to the development of national industry, emphasizing that the establishment of new production enterprises and the effective use of existing capacities are essential for achieving the country’s strategic goals.
